Brand install dialogs with your logo

A branding package adds your logo, company name, color, and dialog style to every PSADT dialog on a device, for every app Agentic Packr installs. It is deployed to each device once as a small, signed package.

Before You Start

  • Microsoft Intune is connected to Agentic Packr.
  • You have a square PNG logo (shown at 256 x 256 px; a 512 x 512 file works well).
  • You have your brand color as a hex code (e.g.,#3370EF).
Create the Branding Package
  1. Go to Settings → Branding. The Branding packages tab lists your packages, and the Deployments tab shows where they were deployed. As the page notes, branding applies to the whole device and every app on it, not to a single deployment.

  2. Click New branding. Under Basics, enter a Name and an optional Description, then click Continue.

  3. Under Appearance, configure the dialog. The preview on the right updates as you go.

    • Dialog style: select Fluent (modern). The default, Leave to the deployment, can result in mixed dialog styles across apps. Fluent requires .NET Framework 4.7.2 (Windows 10 1803 and later); older devices fall back to Classic.
    • Logo: select Custom logo and choose your PNG.
    • Accent color: pick one of the seven presets, or click Custom and enter your hex code.
    • Company name: shown as the subtitle in every dialog.

  4. Click Progress and Dark above the preview to check the other views.

  5. Review the optional settings further down (leave them at their defaults if unsure), then click Continue.

    • Banner: Classic dialog only; PNG up to 450 x 100 px. The size is not validated, so check your file before uploading.
    • Dialog language: follow the user's Windows language, or pin one of 27 languages.
    • Dialog wording: replaces the standard PSADT text with your own.
  6. Under Assignment → Required, click + Add all devices (or + Add group for a pilot). Leave Uninstall empty. The notes at the top explain that the package is built and signed after you create it, and that Deploy sends it to Intune.

    Assignment step

  7. Click Create branding.

Build, Deploy, and Verify
  1. Wait while the status shows Building (packaging and signing). Click Refresh after about 30 seconds. When it's ready, the card shows Signed and deployable.

  2. Click Deploy. There is no confirmation step. The status changes to Publishing and then Deployed in about a minute.

  3. Open the Deployments tab to confirm the status is Published. The row also shows the source, the number of groups, and a note that devices pick up the branding at their next check-in.

Note: Editing a branding package does not change devices that already have it. Deploy it again to apply changes.

  4. In the Intune admin center, go to Apps → Windows apps and refresh the page. You'll see a new Win32 app named "<package name> (branding <ID>)", version 1.0.0, with Tenant as the publisher, assigned as Required to all devices. It is installed by a PowerShell script and detected by a file under %ProgramData%\sap\psadt\config.

What Happens Next

  • Devices get the branding at their next Intune check-in.
  • From then on, every Agentic Packr install or uninstall on those devices shows your logo, company name, and color, including apps that were already deployed.
  • Devices without the branding show the app's own icon.
  • To remove branding from devices, click Uninstall on the Deployments tab. To remove it from Intune entirely, use Undeploy from Intune in the ••• menu.
